Meet Emily

Where your story lives in light and stillness

Hi, I'm Emily, a Hamilton County photographer with a preference for muddy boots, good light, and photos that actually look like your life.

Most days you'll find me working, in my garden, or trying to decide what hobby I want to master next (which I almost never do).

I live in Hamilton County with my wife, our dog, two cats, and six frogs.

I've been taking photos since I was 15, and over time I realized I'm not interested in overly posed sessions. I'd rather catch things as they happen so your photos look like your life, not something staged.

I work with families, farms, and small businesses. I'll give you some direction if you need it, but for the most part, I'm just watching and letting things unfold. That's where the photos that actually feel like you come from.

One thing about me is I'm very low stress. I'm always adjusting as things go, whether that's helping a family settle in or moving animals into better light. It's easier to work with what's happening than try to force it. I take my time, and I'm not thrown off when things don't go perfectly.

I also live with POTS. It's something I manage day to day, and it can affect my energy, especially in the heat or during busier seasons. I may need to take breaks or pace things a little differently, but I'll always communicate and make sure you know what to expect.

Outside of photography, I spend a lot of time gardening, baking, antiquing, and just being home.
